About zkSync Token and future.
The ZKsync token, ZK, was launched on June 17, 2024 by Alex Gluchowski.
Alex Gluchowski currently has two jobs: co-founder and CEO of ZKsync and co-founder and CEO of Matter Labs.
Alex Gluchowski built zkSync as an innovative solution that processes a large number of transactions at top speed.
I see a big future for the zkSync network as it will grow like Ethereum in the near future.
As the blockchain ecosystem continues to evolve, scalability and transaction efficiency have become key challenges for networks. Enter zkSync, a Layer 2 scaling solution built on Ethereum’s blockchain, designed to provide faster and more cost-efficient transactions while maintaining the security and decentralization that Ethereum is known for. With zkSync, users can finally experience scalable dApps, low transaction fees, and instant finality, making it an exciting development in the world of blockchain.
- The Best Advantage of zkSync
zkSync leverages Zero-Knowledge Rollups (zk-rollups) to scale Ethereum transactions, which allows for faster execution and significantly lower gas fees compared to Ethereum’s mainnet. By processing transactions off-chain and only submitting essential data to the Ethereum mainnet, zkSync increases throughput while preserving the security guarantees of Ethereum’s network.
Key Advantages of zkSync include:
- Scalability: zkSync can process thousands of transactions per second (TPS) without compromising security, making it ideal for applications that require high throughput.
- Low Fees: zkSync drastically reduces transaction costs, which has been a major pain point for users on Ethereum due to high gas prices.
- Ethereum Compatibility: As a Layer 2 solution, zkSync is fully compatible with Ethereum, meaning developers can port over existing Ethereum dApps with minimal changes.
- Security: By using Ethereum’s security model and leveraging zk-rollups, zkSync provides a secure environment for users without sacrificing decentralization.
These benefits make zkSync an excellent option for developers and users looking for a more efficient blockchain experience.
2. My Thoughts on zkSync & the Lack of Staking Websites.
I was surprised that there was no trust staking website for zkSync.
When I first came across zkSync, I was impressed by its potential to solve some of the biggest issues facing blockchain networks today. Its ability to bring high throughput and low fees to Ethereum’s ecosystem is groundbreaking, and I could immediately see its value in various use cases, from DeFi to NFTs.
However, one thing that stood out to me was the lack of a reliable staking platform for zkSync users. While the chain is built with robust security and scalability in mind, there hasn’t been an easy-to-use, transparent staking option for users who want to participate in securing the network or earning rewards through staking. Given zkSync’s innovative nature, it seemed like there should be more ways for users to engage with it beyond just transaction fees.
This is where staking becomes crucial. By staking zkSync tokens, users not only contribute to the security of the network but also have the chance to earn passive rewards. Yet, despite this potential, the absence of a clear staking website is a missed opportunity in the ecosystem.
Next time, we will explain the transparent staking system and where the rewards for staking users come from.
If you are interested in the zksync era chain, please reply and give me a round of applause.
And wait for the next news.
